Miyajima Isle & Hiroshima City – Top 2 UNESCO sites 8H Tour

Hiroshima city & Miyajima island highlights – see as much as we can to suit the interests and pace of the group. Includes time for a lunch break & short snack or drink breaks as needed.

Usually we start by traveling to Miyajima island (it takes about an hour) and spend 2 hours walking around the key sacred island sights while avoiding crowds, enjoying the stories, engage with locals, and take in the beautiful island views.

It takes about an hour to get back in the city, but we can then choose to see the gardens and castle grounds (if there is time) but the priority is spending time in and around the Peace Park to take in the meaningful memorials, stories and views.

Please note that the tour does not include guiding inside the Peace Memorial Museum- please book your tickets online before or after the tour to avoid crowds.
